CRH began its operations in Brazil in 2015 in the cement segment, with plants located in Arcos, Minas Gerais, Cantagalo, Rio de Janeiro, Matozinhos, Minas Gerais, and Santa Luzia, Minas Gerais, with a production capacity of 3.5 million tons/year. Nowadays, it operates in the Southeast Espírito Santo – Minas Gerais – Rio de Janeiro- and São Paulo, Midwest (Goiás), South (Paraná), and Northeast (Bahia) regions of the country. The plants have been awarded ISO 9001 Certification and employ hundreds of workers.

CRH is committed to sustainability, as evidenced by its extensive use of alternative fuels and manufacture of low-carbon cements.
